What is a CATIS?
iCATIS facilitates a development model designed to make significant local and regional impact by vetting regional NGOs that are succeeding in sustainable work with economically limited peoples (ELP) and providing expertise and rigorous research and development to further their work with truly indigenous appropriate technology. By developing a network of partnerships and collaborations around this partnership, this impact will continue to resonate outward, promoting various levels of regional and national impact as well as international standards. A CATIS is:
Center of research, design, and education of indigenous appropriate sustainable technology
Collaboration with local NGO to further improve on appropriate technologies and to identify other areas.
Network with regional and national organizations to share knowledge, experience, and expertise
International Impact through partners and an ever-widening and dynamic scope of successes and failures
